LVPA is Nationally Recognized!!!!

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts, fondly known as LVPA, was founded by me in 2003 after 7 years of hard work. It is now known as "Charter Arts". As I reach out to Minnesota, Delaware, and Bucks County- people need to recognize what we are recreating. The school was recently recognized for excellence in the May issue of US News and World Report. The magazine annually rates high schools and colleges on a variety of critical measures.

The results for Charter Arts are remarkable:

They ranked #1 among the 21 high schools in the Lehigh Valley (Northampton and Lehigh County, Pennsylvania).

In addition, they are ranked 46th in the state of Pennsylvania our of 952 (top 6%) high schools; 1,442 (top 7%) of the 20,500 public high schools in the United States.

Add to that, out of 2,941 national charter high schools – they were ranked 231 (top 10%).

The schools were ranked according to Graduation Rate (Arts had 99%), test scores (Arts were 98% proficient in Reading and 83% proficient in Mathematics. The minority student population at charter arts is at 27%- closely reflective of the ENTIRE Lehigh Valley.
